We continue our caldina manifold series with initial comparison of the GENII manifold vs the modded Caldina manifold. As you can see in the pictures below, the Caldina manifold is a little meatier, and only sporting four runners vs eight in the GENII.
Another thing that should be interesting is how this manifold will perform vs the stock GENII 3SGTE intake manifold. The caldina plenum is larger, but also is taller than the stock. The height of the stock manifold is 5.964 from the runner flange to the bottom of the plenum. The Caldina measures 6.767 inches from the flange to the bottom of the plenum. From what we understand, the taller manifold should improve bottom end torque, while the bigger plenum should provide more up top. The next dyno should be lots of fun.
