When comparing the two wastegates, you can see pretty quickly that the synchronic comes with thicker flanges. To make thing easier, the port that attaches to the external dump tube comes threaded. This will simplify not neading nuts on that side of the wastegate.
On the tial, we were running allen type bolts, but we are looking to switch to studs. The allen bolt just doesn't allow us to torque down the wastegate as much as we would like.
We are using an external wastegate kit from ATSRacing that came with allen bolts to hold down the Tial. We plan on using studs on the ATS kit, to help us bolt the synchronic wastegate.
